Supercharged carbon-negative compost through farming

We blend 25% biochar and <12mm dried fines graded from whole-tree woodchip. The whole-tree wood chip is high in nitrogen and other vital nutrients found in the leaves, buds, and new growth bark, making it a high energy material.

This blend is spread alongside the feed barriers, keeping the stock clean and happy with anecdotal evidence for suppression of diseases.

The most significant gain of this process is supercharging the biochar twice over as it is removed and replaced every week and transferred to the compost heap. With the cow manure infused into the blend of biochar and fines, super composting in the manure pile results in virtually Zero odours and reduced ammonia and methane emissions.

The end product is supercharged carbon-negative compost for land application. The slow release of nitrogen and other nutrients helps to minimise runoff resulting in reduced pollution in watercourses.

A proper win-win solution for Carbon Farming!
